The Mexican is a colorful, cozy Mexican restaurant in the center of the city only a stone's throw away from the famous Dam-square. The Mexican is known for the delicious dishes and sincere hospitality.
Three restaurants
In 2009 we opened the doors of our first restaurant in the Damstraat in Amsterdam. Our culinary success has expanded to three locations. Since 2022 we can proudly welcome you to our new restaurant on the Halvemaansteeg in Amsterdam.
Takeaway service
We also offer a takeaway service, so you can enjoy our delicious Mexican dishes at home.

At The Mexican you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, extensive lunch or a nice dinner. The menu offers a wide choice of Mexican dishes such as: Burritos, Enchiladas, Tacos and Fajitas. All our dishes are homemade and prepared with fresh ingredients.
